Today’s agent has to work diligently to differentiate themselves from their competition. One of the ways is to obtain professional designations and certifications. These are typically classes that are offered throughout the U.S. and are supported by the National Association of Realtors. You can get a designation in almost anything it seems. Whether it be technology (IMS), Working with Senior Citizens (SRES) or basics in real estate (GRI) there is plenty of room to grow and learn.
A word of caution….To the public this looks like alphabet soup. Be sure you always bring the WIIFM to your client. What’s In It For Me, how does this benefit your client or the service you will provide them? Otherwise it is just mumbojumbo. ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative
